Eno: LEADING WITH A DIFFERENCE
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has consistently demonstrated his unique approach to governance.
These approaches have made governance very easy and rewarding for the people of Akwa Ibom State in different ways.
For the first time in the history of Akwa Ibom State, Personal Assistants to the Governor have been appointed across all political wards in the State.
Last week, over 40 Permanent Secretaries in the State smiled home with a brand new SUV official cars that befit their status as the highest rank in the civil service.
Just few hours after donating the official cars to permanent secretaries, the governor again scored another first by treating the then outgoing members of the dissolved State Executive Council earlier in the day to a valedictory banquet where they were honoured with medals 🥇 for advancing the ARISE Agenda.
That was the governor’s way of showing gratitude and appreciation to them for their tireless service to their fatherland. Though it was an emotional moment, it is a gesture they will never forget in their lifetime especially those that won’t make the new cabinet.
For those who will return to Exco, it will be a morale booster that their boss understands the challenge of getting things done and appreciate their efforts in making the ARISE agenda a reality.
That same day, the governor inaugurated a special committee for project monitoring and delivery, and also donated 3 brand new monitoring trucks to cover the three senatorial districts.
It is very clear that this governor has humanize governance by intentionally doing things that adds more value to the people.
He has done many amazing things since he came into office that endears him to the people, and earned the title of “the people’s governor” in less than two years in office.
Governor Umo Eno is an exceptional leader who is blessed with many incredible leadership capacity in unique ways that confound his critics, and rekindled the people’s confidence that government is working for them.
Indeed, governor Umo Eno is a different kind of governor leading in a unique and spectacular ways.
